LAYOUT IDEAS
LAMINATED LOGS
All logs are from sustainable sources and are slow growing species which ensures a straight trunk and a dense fibre structure. The manufactured logs are split and joined together with the heartwood at the surface; this stabilizes the log preventing warps & cracks.
Available in 88mm or 250mm profile the traditional Scandinavian notch fits perfectly on top of one another.
SOLID LOGS
Using Finnish slow grown, high quality, strong logs from FSC accredited sources these buildings are made by hand by traditional craftsman. Seamlessly scribed together every knot, hollow and contour of each round log is precisely fitted to the log below, creating a unique beautifully solid building with incredible energy and thermal efficiency which is a greener alternative to common construction methods
HANDSCRIBED LOGS
Finlog have teamed up with a skilled handmade log producer to supply beautiful hand-scribed mobile log homes of any size. These traditionally built log cabins are created by scribing each log seamlessly to the last, stacking the trees into a solid and impressive structure providing a natural, unique and energy efficient building solution again providing a greener alternative to modern methods of construction.
